Flat Lessons at Warwickshire College, Moreton Morrell Centre

Schedule: Fortnightly starting at 19:15 & 20:00
Cost: £12 up to maximum of 8 riders per session

Jump Lessons at Weston Lawns, Bulkington

Schedule: Weekly until end of year 10.00 – 11.00 (If more than 6 then an extra session will be run at 9.00)
Cost: £15 if 5 or more in session; £20 up to 4 (maximum of 6 in a group)
Trainer: Lawrence Hunt - a member of the World Class Development Eventing squad which is a group of only eight riders including names like Lucy Wiegersma, Ruth Edge and Kitty Boggis.

I do not have any details but Marion reports that all our dressage competitors have returned from this years championships with rosettes.   I think that deserves a great big WELL DONE to all the riders &  grooms helpers & support teams. Particularly in view of the reported weather.

MINI DRESSAGE COMPETITION ON THE SATURDAY 13^TH SEPTEMBER 

This year our mini dressage competition is being made a little larger to include a wider range of tests. We are planning to hold a Walk and Trot test, two Prelims, two Novices, and an Elementary / Medium judged on percentage.

This competition is to encourage genuine novices or those who just fancy having a go at a harder test than they would normally compete at, - at a low key friendly venue. It is held at Netherwood Lodge Farm in Chadwick End. Tests are held on a surface, warm up being on a surface and/or flat field depending on numbers.

Tests to be £6.00 for SRC members, £8.00 for others. SRC members and Netherwood Livery customers to have priority.

9 coloured cobs stolen from Cannock yesterday, 5 the day before in Lichfield.  Red landcruiser, white ban and blue vw are vehicles used. Please pass on.

Two vehicles have also been noted, a red Land Cruiser registration number B16 RBB and a white van registration number N253 XAJ.

Again the police would be interested to hear from you if you spot these vehicles.

Hi gail here,  tonight i seen a middle eastern guy taking photos of a horse in Baginton and also two weeks ago we seen a guy standing looking at our horses on the Kenilworth Road with a camera around his neck also middle eastern.    I have contacted Warwickshire Police but not very helpful just said they would ring us back, I am  quite worried has there is only my two horses there now and it is quite out the way there thought you should know

WARWICKSHIRE POLICE COMMUNITY SAFETY TEAM WATCH SCHEMES

MESSAGE ……………..Look Out for vehicle with Number Plate N 253 XAJ

On the 29th May 2008 a rural premises in Hockely Heath was visted by 2 men described as Eastern European who made enquiries about setting up a tent in a field and horses. They had a black Peugeot VRM N253 XAJ. There are other reports of this number plate on a White mini bus in suspicious circumstances and an internet posting about this VRM on a red Land Cruiser in relation to possible theft of horses.
If you see a vehicle with this number plate please dial 999.

If you call the Police about an incident please ring 01926 415000 and ask for the Communications Centre. Please tell them that you are ringing in response to a message. Please quote the incident number, if one is given.

Danielle as you know the two cheques you issued to cover the cost of your membership & the training session have both been bounced, with the comment ” Account Closed”

It transpires that you closed this account last year, so I must assume you issued the cheques to us with full knowledge of the fact that we would not be get the funds added to our account. 

The fact that you have not had the common decency to even contact us despite all our efforts to speak to you leaves us no alternative but to now notify all of our members that your actions have effected of this selfish act.  Riding Clubs Office have also been informed & your membership cancelled.       We hope you are pleased with  yourself.

Hi everyone can you help?,

We have competitors coming from far a field to compete at our 2 Day Event on Saturday and Sunday 24th & 25th May who need stabling either for the Friday and Saturday night or just the Saturday night.

If anyone has any empty stables near to Offchurch or knows of any please could they e mail me with details.
